Wasnt always pretty but we secured an opening win over Elon. Next up today at 2p is a home game against the Tribe. The tribe are improved but still not good. Their improvement in the league standings may well end up merely due to the additions to the league just being that bad. That said its NYE, I hope we are focused. This is not a game we should drop. Its not senior night so I feel a little better about our chances. Let's bring in the new year with a nice win.

Yame comes in and has an immediate impact. W&M racking up fouls as we attack them. We are up to 8 offensive rebounds up 28-26 with 2 to go

30 all at half. We did not hit a 3 in the first half, while W&M ended up at 50% at 6-12. Have to be happy to be tied with that. We have the size to control this game even if 3's dont fall.

Up 55-51 at U8. Still 0-12 from 3. Tribe 8-15.

We are also +11 on the boards currently. Need to keep capitalizing.

Final 66-56 to move to 2-0 in conference. Game ended on Amari's 6th block of the game. Amari had himself a game and totally had W&M out of sync anywhere near the basket. Glad we could win while shooting 1-13 from 3

Seems like it was upset city elsewhere in the conference, so I'm very glad we avoided a loss in a poor shooting game. Good to be over .500 heading into the new year!

Great effort by Drexel today. They were really battling out there and showed that they can win without the 3-point shots falling. They hit just 1 today after hitting 17 and 11 the previous two games. Very important for them to open up with 2 home wins against teams who they should beat.
