Really big night for the program. Historic level shooting from both floor and free throw line. Justin Johnson hitting his 1000th point. Zdor with his career high. First conference win of the season, and a great win for the home crowd.

Yeah, that last foul looked like the ACU player was just frustrated.
Anyway we're out of the no win club, which is a relief.

About one of the dumbest things to watch, but we tried to foul against SUU at the end though when that loss was inevitable as well, even if the score was close in that game. We haven't learned from our mistakes this year and we just continue to fail to progress. The embarrassment of fouling while down that much and letting UTRGV keep shooting free shots is just the fudge on the ice cream...

Well, that guy only played 1 minute, but I guess he could have been frustrated that he didn’t play more so he could start accumulating as many fouls as possible like the rest of the ACU team.

UVU over CBU.

On RGV vs ACU, Will Johnston is out with an injury so you're probably right.

I hope he’s back soon. He’s sure a fun player to watch.

Lopes, I think you made pretty good picks. I’d add that I think UVU beats both Seattle and CBU. I could see Utah Tech getting one win out of this week.

Chicago State hasn’t won a road game all season, but that’s subject to change this week too.

I think home court means more this year than seasons passed. Even with CBU's injuries this year UVU has a losing record playing games at CBU so I ran with that.

That’s as good of a reason as any. So far it’s been interesting. Not too impressed with UVU’s play, but there’s a long way to go and CBU is shooting really well.

I see Tarleton blew out Chicago State. By 10. 3 possession game at the 1 minute mark.

Tarleton is an average squad with moments of good. UVU is a better Seattle U imo. Trey and Cam are interchangeable and it comes down to their help that make a real difference. Lastly shocked CBU didn't pump this game up and market it to their students and community. With GCU they seem to always have some type of shirt give away with some lame saying on them.

I like UVU’s inside game. They don’t always score a ton, but Fuller is a nifty player who seems to signal for a lob a few times every game to keep the defenses a little off guard-and he makes almost all of his shots. And Bandaogo is so long, and can block shots and rebound so well on top of scoring. Sometimes I think they need to look inside more.

At least from the camera angles I can see, CBU has an older crowd. Wherever their student section is, it isn’t raucous, that’s for sure.

Students are at the bottom of the screen and some look to be wearing bucket hats. I think UVU's issue will be not being overall athletic and they are looking a bit slow vs a team down 3 key guys. Not to mention CBU has zero size tonight and they aren't like you suggested going inside much at all.

Seems like CBU would want their students behind the basket screen right. It’s usually empty and where a of schools want students.

Either way, it looks like it was be a good finish.

Denouement for ACU. UTRGV just put a lesson on the Wildcats who somehow did not make it down to the Rio Grande. The Vacqueros played a fine game.

Complete collapse. After going down 66-60, UVU outscored CBU 11-1 in the final 2 minutes. UVU is clearly the team to beat now.

UVU has won 11 straight and moves to 5-0 in WAC play with a come from behind 71-67 win in Riverside.

The entire final minute was pretty poorly executed. If I remember correctly, CBU turned it over when they were up with the ball with about 30 second left.

Lance Woodbury hit a deep contested 3 early in the shot clock to take a one point lead, leaving CBU plenty of time. His shot went in but was a poor shot choice and poorly timed to boot.

After some fouls, UVU stretched it to 4. It’s unlikely either team is going to find an opponent that plays that poorly in a close game down the stretch. UVU was a little more solid and came away with it.

Don't know if I'd call it complete collapse. CBU was still in the game with 4 seconds left.

That is true. But to remain unscathed after 5 games, have beaten Sam Houston decisively, and be 3-0 on the road in the WAC, they are off to a good start.

CBU scoring only one point and committing four turnovers in the last two minutes is a collapse.

Was watching a bit of the UTA v GCU game and saw UTA up 30-25. Now UTA is getting blown out.

Ugly first half in the NMSU v SU game. Tied at 24 at half.

They wound up beating us by 32 points. I am so ready for baseball, but I guess we owe the rest of the conference an easy win
