I'll watch the game before the Superbowl comes on but I see that our TO problem continues. The other stat that jumped out for me was foul shots. We had seventeen and they got more than double at thirty-six. We're we the only physical team? Almst all of our guys were in foul trouble!

NU had 14 TO’s I believe in the first half. It was embarrassing. I decided to just follow the game via ESPN’s boxscore after that. Obviously, some of it was from UNCW’s defense, but the rest was just poor turnovers. Pridgen had a ton in the paint.

They tightened it up in the second half, but they weren’t going to win this game, and shots themselves in the foot.

Monday night at CofC is going to be ugly…

NU is back home to host UNCW tonight.

The Seahawks have won 4 straight and had a big home win over CofC Saturday. But NU is only a game behind them in the standings.

This would be a huge win and NU would have to play like they did against Hofstra.

I think we’ll come up a little bit short in this one though.

Yes. We'll have to play well to get a win tonight. Their overall record, defensive and offensive stats look solid but maybe a little padded. They played four schools in their preseason that I have never heard of and beat them on average by like 115 to 65.

Yeah, but they also won at Kentucky too. That supersedes the "Sisters of the Poor" teams they've beaten...

I didn't know that. I just looked at who they played. Tthat tells me that when they are at their best they are very good. Maybe they-ll leave their A game at home.

That's why I almost never predict wins or losses for us. On a good shooting day we shoot at a .585 pace (Georgia Southern) and on a bad day we'll shoot .333 (Stonybrook). Noone knows where we will be within that range on a given night. Last night UNCW brought their A game and to beat them, among other things, we would have needed to be near the top of our shooting percentage rather than being closer to the bottom of the range.

Is it time to agree that, for a third straight year, having a two guard be your PG doesn't work? After the first couple of games I was thinking that Sakota doesn't look like PG but if he can keep scoring fifteen points per game it wold be fine with me. That isn't happening anymore.
