In a tie with Troy for first place who lost tonight but they have already beat Troy so they are really in first.

Big game on Saturday.

Huge win! Still a logjam, but one that we're on top of. Another huge one coming up. JMU/ODU/Troy 11-4, TXST/USM/UL 10-5, GS 9-6 with 2-0 head to head against us. Butterflies up next followed by 5-10 App and 8-7 Marshall. We're currently 1-0 vs all 11-4 and 10-5 teams with obviously another ODU game coming up.

I have always liked Coach O but I was overly critical of him last season.
But this season he has truly done a great job. The pieces are really coming together and this team is dangerous.
This is a tough conference and it is going to take a really special effort to win the SB. I do believe this team can do it, but it is not going to be easy.
I have a feeling it won't happen this year, but will get a chance in another tournament and go far.
I do hope for Coach O that he can take them to the NCAAT.

Nice win by the Dukes last night. Was anticipating a tough game and we got a good one. Another tough one coming up Saturday in Norfolk against ODU.

Dukes beat all six western division teams they played this year. Three at home and three on the road.

Tx St knows they needed to win that one at home. Great win by the Dukes to keep in the fight for the double bye, and heck even have a shot at finishing first.

And from here a long flight straight to Norfolk to take on ODU. Not a lot of time for rest.

And did I hear that Troy LOST last night? Oh boy! That tightens things up a LOT> Now we have to beat ODU to take it all.....
