Well we learned a lot from GCU last night. This current group likes to win but doesn't hate to lose.... UTRGV tip of my cap to you guys.

the ladyMavs got a nice dbl. overtime win 106-102 over sam houston. 1368 in attendance

UTRGV is replacing the NMSU game with.....Southwestern Assemblies of God. Not to be confused with the less formidable Southwestern University, Southwestern Christian, or Southwest Adventist.

Kind of depressed about missing our last chance at NMSU. Although a win would've been not quite as glorious after all their misfortunes.

A win would have been a win, and I certainly would have been rooting for the Vaqueros.

UTA reminds SFA that their poor sportsmanship in Arlington wasn't forgotten in a 75-70 win in Nacogdoches. Pretty much knocks SFA out of any chance of a top four seed.

Congratulations. This year's UTA freshmen will be even more impressive next year.

Questions remain what the Mav future will look like. Hopefully the team stays together next year.
