That is an even bigger accomplishment considering they did it in a much improved WAC with no Chicago State and Lamar (or UIW) to pad the stats. It just goes to show truly how much the Vaquero's improved this year.

What's surprising is that we're on the edge of having a winning overall season (counting a few like Southwest Adventist). I did not think that could happen, and was in doubt if we'd win any D1 games at all.

Tarleton is definitely still the better team, but your home vs road performances are very different.

I miss the old days. This would be the week where the race for the #2 seed would be down to the last games, and the lesser teams would be smack talking about who had chance at taking down the Aggies in the tournament.

Have you figured out your Vegas plans yet? The women's games tend to be early so you've got the evenings free.

As it turns out, I am not sure NMSU would have caught UTRGV for a chance to play in Vegas. You guys are really playing well. I also wanted you to at least have a chance at that elusive win against NMSU. I was actually in Las Cruces and was planning to go to the game when the rug was pulled out from under us. Oh well.

I have plenty of activities planned for my Vegas trip. We have a lot of time on our hands...
