Well I think we can pretty much wrap up the NL Cy Young race. Blake Snell just with a crazy finishing kick. Has a 0.40 lead on Steele, 0.62 on Senga, and a 0.98 lead on everyone else. Got a 1.40 lead on Strider who advanced metrics folks want to pimp.

saw that the Padres are now 7-23 in 1 run games. If they don't improve, that would be the worst record in 1 run games since 1935.

Only gone at least 5 innings 17 times, and in 7 of those 17 games, he's given up at least 4 runs.

didn't expect to see the Cubs fold like that and get swept this series. Hate to see them get so close and perhaps let the playoffs slip away.

Come next week, all teams 0-0. Braves got a big starting pitching problem. Not gonna be easy getting by the D-Backs or Phillies. Hope we do better than last year. regular season was great, historic, but playoffs almost a total crapshoot and we're playing with less pitching cards than almost anyone else right now.
