8 Auburn - 22
1 Houston - 25

7:36 remaining in the first half.

I mean I'm not surprised, but I was hoping we'd be doing a better job containing their offense.

You guys are decimated by injuries and Auburn is playing at home. It's not even a trap game, I'm not sure that Auburn shouldn't have been favored.

I don't want to agree with you, darn it! lol (Auburn's up by three as I type this with 6:14 left in the half.)

But I'd like the officiating to put the whistles away.

Or at least get it right.

There were too many calls on both sides. They controlled the game and could have lost it for Arkansas. Congrats to the Razorbacks for overcoming the three who fouled out. That's what you have to do to advance!

Auburn knocking down some tough 3s. If they can shoot like this for 40 minutes they deserve the W. Hoping they cool off.

I'm hoping and praying they cool off, too.

most of the calls I saw were fouls. Better that than the maul ball we saw in Tennesse/Duke. 11 fouls for Tennessee? GTFO with that crap.

Kansas had a 10 point lead and went 4 minutes without scoring.

Even with that, if they were to hit their free throws, they would have won. They missed at least three 1 and 1's during that stretch?

Then went 7 minutes with a 3 point shot, 4 FTs. Still regained the lead but lost in the last minute. Made only 3 baskets the last 12 minutes. Other 12 points were on free throws.

Princeton wins and they'd be going to the sweet 16 for first time since 1967.

Have we ever had a tourney where all 4 one seeds failed to make it out of the first weekend?

Looking at boxscore, last 3:45, only two baskets, both by Arkansas. Both scored 7 points off FTs.

Auburn leads #1 Houston 41-31 at the half.

Houston will have to play better defense in the second half.

And Sasser looks physically OK but he disappeared for much of the half.

Missouri was really weird this year, they had some strong wins and some really bad losses. But not "losses to bad teams", more like "losses by a lot of points to good teams".

Auburn closed off with a 17-4 run in last 6 minutes.

Houston isn't out yet. And Alabama hasn't played yet.

Purdue is out, Kansas is out, we’re dead in the water, and Brandon Miller is hobbled. It’s starting to look pretty likely.

It was possible for the SEC to have 5 schools advance today + 1 future member out of the 8. Tennessee and Arkansas have won. But it does look like Princeton will beat Missouri.

According to ESPN research, no. In the history of seeding, at least one #1 has made it to the Elite Eight.
