Yeah. I thought there was a chance that he might have left after the miserable 2021-22 season but he stuck with us. Playing on a losing team is draining. Now he can finish up with a team that wins more games and maybe pick up some NIL cash. I hope he's leaving with a NU degree.

Good Luck to Telfort, I wish him well at Butler and beyond. When he was originally signed by NU I watched highlight videos and quite frankly was surprised he was coming to NU and then stayed as long as he did.

Matt Janning probably would have finished in the Big10, Chase Allen in Tennessee and a guy like Eatherton never steps foot on our campus.

I guess the value is playing against consistently better competition. Hopefully he does well and can parlay that into an opportunity the year after. The cash won't be that high and Butler's going to get massacred in that conference next year.

Being a mid-major fan is tough these days. It's like being a fan of a minor league baseball team. You don't get really good 4 year players anymore and it's hard to fall in love with teams/players like the ones you referenced and many before them. I am struggling with the mental adjustment.

If anyone has the CBS Sports Network, an all star team of Canadian college hoops players is about to take on Kentucky and Telfort is playing for Canada at 8pm tonight.

He'll certainly be using that remaining year so that was wise at least
