Jerry is all about the money. That stadium is a money printer brining in over $100 million per year in revenue with over 300 events per year.
Not sure if Jerry gets any kickback from all of that, but he does "assist" with getting a lot of the events.
I would argue the opposite. Yes, he is a businessman. But I think he would sell his soul for another Super Bowl win.
And that led to personnel problems in the past. Like trading 3 picks for Roy Williams and then giving him a big contract extension. He got so impatient. And Jerry was too loyal to players at the end of their careers, including Troy.
I think he has given more control to Will McClay and Stephen, and they have done a great job in the draft for years now.
