Hoping the coach will soon be fired...unless he's miraculously cleared. Their best player recently entered the portal too...likely as a result.

This **** needs to stop.

I know an available coach who probably hadn’t left Ohio yet. Coach Babcock at BG? And players can surrender their cellphones to him to avoid more hazing incidents.

or they could keep their cell phones and not have a creepy hazing culture.

They’ll be fine, but may hurt them for a couple years. I’d like to see them get good again & get that NCHC invite, especially now b/c we have an odd number.

I'd selfishly enjoy having Bowling Green play hockey in Colorado once in a while, but I really wish we could get the MAC schools back together in the CCHA. I know Western Michigan probably doesn't see it that way, so here we are.

There is some talk that Simon Frasier may pursue Division I hockey. I wonder if they would be a logical 10th for the NCHC.

I think that College Hockey News guy may have missed some nuance here. Yes, the BGSU head coach has been reinstated, and the investigation concluded he didn't know about "Rookie Day." But there are allegations of "conduct with the potential to
cause humiliation, physical harm, or emotional harm" and violations of the student code, and several players (six?) are suspended.
