Where are the Big 10 fans?
The Big 10 thread doesn’t get much traffic but I know we’ve got Big 10 folks on the realignment board. Why are things so quiet over here?

Don't know? But you should contribute to the weekly cfb thread more. Get some more interest generated, hopefully. I'm always talking to myself, lol!

RE: Where are the Big 10 fans?
I know there are a few but the board definitely has more fans of other conferences, especially that other conference. The ACC is also very popular and I go there often. I often consider the ACC the Big Ten's "brother" conference. We're the closest geographically, Penn State and Pittsburgh share a state, both schools have mostly high ranking USN&WR schools. I have been to Syracuse and the Ismail brothers went to my high school (Rocket's brother went to Syracuse, quite a few of our graduates have gone to Syracuse, Syracuse is just up I-81 from Wilkes Barre. Also because of my time at Illinois I became a big Bulls fan and Michael Jordan is of course "from North Carolina!" I went to grade school (not high school) with a guy who played in the NBA and went to Florida State. Part of me wants North Carolina, Florida State, Pittsburgh, and Syracuse in the Big 10 and part of me wants the ACC to stay intact (well I want Pittsburgh in the Big Ten, they don't fit in the ACC geographically and Penn State needs a rival, OSU obviously doesn't have an issue with not having a rival so there's no need for Cincinnati in the Big Ten). What I don't want is North Carolina and Florida State in that other conference. I'm so sick of them and their attitude that they are better than us and in the main board it seems like it's all you get. They act like they're going to get the entire ACC and we have to settle for the Pathetic 12.

I get you and share mild frustration at the ”spirit” sometimes exhibited on the main board. I try to ignore threads like that and let other board members have their fun. That’s what this place is here for.

I also agree with you, generally, on the ACC and the schools you mention. (Ohio State, however, has a rival already and I think both of the schools involved are doing just fine.04-cheers). Add those schools to a few others out west to round things out and I’m good…

I do appreciate you starting those threads, cubucks. I really do. I have to admit I cannot multi task when watching the game(s), so a text message string I have with my college crew is about all I can muster. I do come in and look before and after, so thanks again.

Thank you, and I appreciate you checking out the thread
A lot of BIG fans have sites they visit that are more team specific. I enjoy the variety here, but I understand why some folks wouldn't like it. I still check out Eleven Warriors from time to time, but I currently enjoy it here more.

Invite Pitt, Syracuse and Boston College, the Big 10 becomes the Big East/Lambert independents conference! As a Rutgers fan, it would be great as those schools (outside of Princeton, Lehigh and Lafayette) are the schools we have the most history with.

Back when it looked like the PAC 16, this looked like a very distinct possibility—

I expected to see:

the SEC expand with 4 of the Southern ACC schools

the Big 10 expand in the Northeast and with ND

the ACC and Big East remnants to merge

When football season is over the SEC and Big 10 fans which are massively underrepresented on this board dwindle every year.

The CS/CR forum is overrun with G5 fans wondering where UMass is moving or what Temple will do, but the P5, other than the ubiquitous ACC fans there aren't many P5 fans here. Look at the Big 12 fans and what do you find? UCF, Cincinnati and Houston posters.

That's just the way it is and has been since I've been here, only in that time frame even the ACC fan presence has shrunk.

Where are the Big 10 fans?
Just weighing in-- I'm very interested in B1G and follow with great interest for new information, updates, etc. So while I'm around quite a bit, I don't post very often.

Would do wonders for forum traffic if you had a troll. An SEC guy would be the perfect villain.
