Longest tenured DI head coach in the nation to retire (Miami volleyball)
Quote: Miami University volleyball coach Carolyn Condit announced today that she will retire after the 2023 season. Condit, who is in her 40th season leading the RedHawks' program and 44th season as a college head coach, has amassed 781 career wins in her legendary career. She is the longest-tenured current Division I head coach in the nation, and holds a 682-549 record at Miami since taking over the program in 1984. Condit has compiled more career wins than any coach in any sport in the history of Miami Athletics.

To add some things to Love and Honor's post, Carolyn Condit won 9 regular season MAC championships, played in the MAC tournament championship game 12 times, winning 5, and had 9 NCAA appearances.

Jennie Gilbert, Miami's Associate Athletic Director said "Carolyn has shaped, guided, and motivated teenage girls into strong, independent, compassionate women....who have taken the lessons learned under her tutelage to become nationally known Doctors, lawyers, teachers, business women, entrepreneurs, engineers, and fantastic nurturing mothers.

Ceremonies will follow her final home game on sat Nov 11.
