This is only the second meeting between the two and that was back in 1989 - when I was a sophomore.

Yet another game I think NU can play well and keep it close, but UVA will pull away at the end and win this one.

That's how I see it, too. This is a pay day. I don't know how much they are paying us but it will pay for a lot of recruiting visits and harden our guys against superior talent. A win for us would be keeping it to a less than fifteen point loss.

It was nice to get PridGen back.

This team continues to get better especially in terms of defence and effort.

Bad team don't take top 21/22 teams down to the wire.

I agree with you. Really good effort. We are going to be in 10 CAA games that go down to the final 4 minutes. How we perform in those will tell the tale of the 23-24 season.

I would be surprised if that was the inbound pass that was drawn up in the timeout. Were we out of timeouts?

Edit: I rewatched the end of the game and it looks like that WAS what they drew up in the time out.

That out-of-bounds play had no chance and was atrocious. But it should've never come down to that.

Interesting that Nwagha didn't play.
