Quick Lane Bowl 2021 vs. 2023 - Tyler, Crooms and Selig Stat Comparisons
2021 -

Tyler - 14 carries, 146 yards rushing; 100 yard kickoff return TD.
Crooms - 1 Reception, 74 yards receiving, 1 TD.
Selig - 8 tackles (team leader).

2023 -

Tyler - 0 carries, 0 yards; appears to have not played (definitely dressed…saw him on sideline); 3 other MN RBs played.
Crooms - 0 receptions, 0 yards; don’t believe he played on offense; recovered on-side kick late in Q4.
Selig - Don’t believe he played; didn’t see him on sidelines…could be injured.

Not banging on the guys that left. Loved what they did for the Broncos. Moving on may have best the best decision for them…both personally and financially and even developmental-wise. But…I’m guessing this isn’t how they envisioned wrapping up their college careers on the field. Just thought it was interesting and maybe something to consider for current/future MAC players.

They got their money. Can’t blame them.

I haven't been following closely enough to know if anyone's been injured or not.

Tyler's been MIA for a long time. Crooms had been more of a consistent contributor throughout the season, but even he seemed to fall off the box scores lately.

If these 3 got NIL at Minnesota they would be getting peanuts.

During the game, the announcers mentioned Tyler had fallen out of the rotation primarily due to “ball security” issues.

I watched Minisoda play on TV a couple times this fall, and Tyler fumbled each time.

Last game (can't remember against who) he got benched after fumbling on first series, never returned.

I don't remember Crooms catching a pass but the Golden Goofers were not exactly a throwing machine.

According to Minnesota's web site Crooms caught 28 passes for 376 yards, no TDs in 13 games.

Tyler played in 11 games, gained 242 yards, didn't score.
