On the SBC site, Marshall never has anything to indicate their games or stats and you have to go to the MU site to get the links so, I never know.

Same for ODU, JMU and USM.
You newer folks need to get it together.

lol, how do we fix the conference website?

The game is on ESPN+.
I explained that in all of last year's posts and figured most had it figured out by now.

Thanks for explaining. I had no idea since it wasn’t explained in this thread.

Yeah sounds more like the SBC needs to get it together for the new teams in their league.

(and aren’t literally all non-televised SBC basketball games on ESPN+?)

Our ladies need to put together a complete performance. Hoping for a double digit W against USM.

ULM on four game win streak with four upcoming home games against all teams we “should” beat. Weren’t we picked last or close to last in the conference? I think at least finish top 5.

ULM finished last in 2022-2023. ULM finished last in 2021-2022. ULM finished last in west in 2020-2021(we had divisions this year). ULM finished last in 2019-2020. ULM finished second to last in 2018-2019. ULM finished last in 2017-2018. ULM finished last in 2016-2017. I’m not sure why you’re acting surprised about it. If I was voting preseason I would vote you last too. lol.

RE: Women's BB 2023-24
Last two games we've scored 90 and 97 points..in women's basketball. That's crazy. Not used to that pace from the women's side. I think we're 6-0 in conference now and 13-5 overall. Not too shabby for a first year coach with a projected lesser roster than we had last year with some key players that transferred and a couple that are injured or not playing so far this year. Gotta love coaching and development, in action and on the fly.

Had over 2k attendance for this one. Huntington is starting to believe and when they do they will come out and support.

Congrats on a great turnaround and start to the year. Gonna be a good game when we play.

You asked a question instead of making a statement so usually that means you perceived slight in the predicted poor finish.

I fully believe both Marshall and ULM went and got the exact right coach at the exact right time for their programs. Hopefully we can keep them and create a big time rivalry ahead!

If things keep going the way they are it should be one hell of a game on Feb 24th.

Yeah, don't know what Kozlova did, but the ODU player was clearing trying to injure her and should have been ejected. Play hard, but don't try to injure.

I just checked the weather for the game and the high in Huntington was 18 degrees and they had snow on Friday. Nice crowd that braved the elements to support the WB team.

Absolutely right.

I don’t know if the SBC has a process for post-game reviews, but the refs clearly got that call wrong. The ODU player’s action was outrageous.

Agree, even more impressive the last two games have been without our only true low post player due to injury, plus the pre-season All-Conference player hasn't played since game 6 of the year. Despite this, she still plays 10 players 10 minutes or more per game and the last two games resulted in double digit wins. Caldwell appears to be the real deal and we will be lucky to hold on to her.
