"I want to throw you from a helicopter."

We were rolling. There could be a drinking game with the corny lines.

I think he's waiting for 2028.

And that's probably wise.

Wise from both sides.

From the Trump standpoint, if/when he locks up the 2024 Republican nomination, Virginia becomes a lost cause. Glenn Youngkin as the v.p. nominee will not be sufficient to change that.

From Youngkin's standpoint, he saw clearly what happened to Mike Pence. Glenn Youngkin is way too smart to put himself in that same position.

I could probably get on board with Youngkin in 2028.

the pubs are loaded going into '28 ... however, the question still remains; will the following prove insurmountable (which I obviously believe already is) ... @>270EVsBlueBakedInn(293) and/or moo-moo-chelle (aka big mike) if all else fails by Aug. 22, 2024 ... 03-wink (AM)

w/o adopting a national voter standard amendment (gfl passing that), or certain states backing off their current election regulatory positions (which isn't happening to date other than WI and their drop box elimination), everything else becomes moot...

You are not wrong sir, but I have no choice but to remain hopeful.

brother, nobody hopes I'm wrong more than thine ... I simply believe we're living in epic times where our government is no longer representative of "we the people" ... the globo-homo Geppetto's have finally figured out how to 'legally' manipulate electoral outcomes ... I take no pleasure from pointing out my position on this...

this country is easily the most divided I've witnessed in my lifetime ... it's been sad watching it happen in real time ... 04-cheers

Liz Cheney, hands down.

Aha, gotcha. Your heart skipped a beat there, didn't it. I like the Arkansas governor or Noem. Maybe she can get the female vote but I doubt many feminists would go for her. The ones that vote Republican aren't feminists so that makes no difference to that choice.

Ps, my real pick would be Vivek but as it stands now he doesn't want to be the no.2 man. But...most people running for president always say that until they lose.

Honestly I like Noem, but he needs someone to help secure a couple of swing states..

Looking at the predicted swing states:

Arizona
Florida
Georgia
Michigan
Nevada
NC
Wisconsin
PA

I'd aim for someone in either PA, Wisconsin, or Michigan..

Maybe Sean Parnell from PA.. I dunno...

Noem would be a bad idea even though I like her. She would help Trump about as much as Palin helped McCain. There is nobody in Michigan with the gravitas.

More murmurings it could actually be Tulsi Gabbard to appeal to democrats who think the party lost its soul to the wokistas. Those blue collar Reagan Democrats are the voters he threaded the needle with in the Midwest in 2016 who swung back to Biden enough in 2020.

I like Tulsi, don't get me wrong.. She's easy on the eyes and she's smart, but at the end of the day, she's not a middle of the road Dem... But she also disagreed with what was happening in the party and could be enough to sway a good number of Dems... Plus her and Kamala in a debate would be fantastic again.

I'm not a fan of about half of her social issues but those are not the ones I vote on primarily. I do agree with her on a lot of the other issues. Just saying what people around politics are starting to talk about. She is on RFK Jr's and Trump's short list for a reason.

The message she can bring is a strong one in a year that you need the crossovers. She left the democrat party for the same reason a lot of people are considering leaving.

Or as Reagan famously said, I didn't leave the democrat party, it left me.
