If Florida State Bolts?
The top 24 teams that bring value between the ACC and Big 12 from most value to least.
Virginia, Florida St., Clemson, Stanford, Louisville, Arizona, North Carolina, Arizona St., Cal, Kansas, TCU, Miami, Utah, VT, Iowa St., Texas Tech, Duke, GT, Baylor, WV, Oklahoma St., NC St., Kansas St., Pitt.

Would some sort of merger or a completely new conference be the way to go?

The problem is if FSU leaves they won't be alone. If getting USF is a must due to their stae location, that's understandable but sooner or later you're going to have to add athletically competitive programs that are available and ready, like Memphis (top10 in bball and liberty bowl game winners along with a NYBowl and favorite for the g5 berth next season).

1- you have no way of knowing whether that is a true statement or not

2-when FSU leaves the ACC will be sitting on a pile of investment capital provided by any departure ($572 Million is the floor, not the ceiling).

What a bull sh!t list that is. UVA has the most value? They don't even have the most value in their own state.

When you look up at that particular roof and see all those banners and great players, yes, us Tar Heels understand what MJ was saying.
