Bala accepted a position at the University of Washington. LT moved Scott Power into that slot.

What an odd coaching staff off-season. It’s impressive during all this we had the 2nd highest ranked recruiting class in the MAC.

It's been that way everywhere. The Bill o'Brien and Chip Kelly moves were also super weird.

Thankfully the bulk of the Florida kids we recruited were likely recruited by Celiscar and Popovich.

Thamel: Western Michigan is also promoting special teams coach Jeff Popovich to CO-DC and safeties coach, per source.

RE: Bala out....Power in
It looks like our new TE coach is Drew Moulton, according to his Twitter bio. There has been no official announcement, though.
Here's his resume:
2022-Present: Slippery Rock (offensive coordinator/quarterbacks)
2020-2021: Indiana (offensive quality control)
2019: John Carroll (wide receivers)
2017-18: Minnesota (graduate assistant)
2016: Eastern Michigan (offensive and special teams quality control assistant)
2015: Southwest Minnesota State (wide receivers)

With Popovich now co-DC and safeties, and Power is DC and LBs coach...we just need a ST coach and a RB coach. I really hope we can get these guys in before spring ball starts.
