CFP Format
Unanimous vote for the 5-7 format.

Top 5 conference champions and next 7 highest ranked teams.

No specific conferences or P4 or G5 mentioned.

So if AAC and MWC had undefeated champions ranked in top 5 then both would make playoffs.

Some sources say G5 guaranteed, other sources say no guarantee if other teams ranked ahead of the G5

Only 4 power conferences now so top 5 champions will have to include a G5 conference.

The PAC is not eligible.

Actually no conference is guaranteed a spot.

it is 100% GUARANTEED that at least one G5 conference winner will make the CFP

it is NOT GUARANTEED that every P4 conference winner will make the CFP
in fact is is NOT GAURANTEED that ANY P4 conference winner will make the CFP

I would say the non guaranteed items are more likely to happen than the guaranteed one. Thousands of talking heads know where their paychecks come from.

Technically true - at least for the next 2 years.
5 conference champs means that it COULD be the champs of the AAC, MWC, SBC, CUSA, and MAC.
And I have some ocean view property in South Beach Memphis for sale.
For the next 2 years it will be the SEC, B10, ACC, B12 champs + 1 G5 champ. Then seven P4 at large teams.
