RE: David Jones' injury
He’s gonna wear a patch over it and a hook on his right hand since he never uses that one and crush FAU

RE: David Jones' injury
Penny said David Jones had a scratched retina. 2nd time Penny's said that this year - he said the same about Tomlin earlier in the season. Tomlin apparently had a corneal abrasion which is painful but doesn't require surgery, etc like a scratched retina would. I think Penny means scratched cornea. Tigers don't have an opthalmologist on staff, but I hear Jones was seen immediately after the game by South College of Optometry, for what it's worth. He was clearly in pain during the game, holding (wet?) towel over his left eye the remainder of the game.
Penny joked after the game that "our defense was better without him (Jones), so we may bench him to help defense" (paraphrased). Wolo insisted Penny was kidding, and I'm sure he was.
Side note: UT Opthalmology covers Grizzlies and is present during games. It doesn't seem like an opthalmologist would be needed often but we would have benefited from one twice this year. I suppose it helps to have a Med School, as we could have professor/student coverage. If I was a local opthalmologist I'd be interested in covering home games. Light work and could be paid in courtside seats.

Good thing about a medical school is they have to be up on the latest procedures and technology. So, that is a very good thing to have available. In fact, if you live in an area where there is a medical school....I recommend you check them out and read the reviews. It may be an excellent option. Here in Dallas, UT Southwestern (a Univ if Texas Medical College and Hospital) is ranked the number one medical facility in Dallas. Several of my doctors are located there. My urologist is the head of the Urology Dept.

So true!!
Same thing goes for dental schools. UT in Memphis is great. The downside to UT in Memphis is that it’s not well managed or coordinated. You come in and take a number and hope you get called. You’ll sacrifice time, but you’ll save money and get great care. Works well for retirees without dental insurance - they have time.

No one in my section could figure that out. They stopped play.

Why would they? Not like it was intentional.
