But the big shellacking of the day was heAurtburn over WSU 19 - 8 as WSU tested all of it's most uncertain pitchers and found out that indeed only a couple of those have any potential as D1 pitchers, at least this year. Good to know. Now we can only hope that the remainder of the staff holds up and is ready for the next 50 games or so.

ECU Friday and Saturday starters are a problem. Appear to be two frontline aces, really shouldn't have lost to UNC on friday, two runners thrown out at the plate and we lost two balls in LF that should've been easy outs.

USF is 3-2 so far played well but lost 2-1 to a good UConn team and lost 5-0 to Indiana State who is undefeated, swept three game all in 7 innings over an overmatched Marist. After todays game vs Marist we have a 4 game stretch
@FSU who is undefeated and 3 games @ ucf who is undefeated

Bulls win fourth in a row over Marist 12-2, 10 run role on all four wins

WSU beats #18 Iowa 12 to 6 in Jacksonville.

Maizey still coaching at WVU?

Never heard a solid reason for his departure from ECU.

UTSA has gone 76-39 over the last two seasons, but I've resigned myself to the fact that this will be a rebuilding year. I read that we have over 20 new faces to our team, including the large majority of the starting roster. No wonder I have no idea yet who many of these guys are as I watch the games. We lost again today, 5-3 to Lamar. Puts us at 3-5 on the year with our next game at UH on Tuesday at 3pm.

Pirates take game 3 for the series win in front of 6,000 plus at Clark LeClair stadium in an early season Top 15 match-up with UNC.

Pirates did a lot of damage with the sticks and their top six of the lineup will rival many opponents.

Weekend rotation is set and strong led by Ace Trey Yesavage followed by Root & Hunter. Pen needs some work, but great 9th inning work today by Jackson Dilorenzo where the moment wasn't to big for him.

Great series win for the conference!!!

Went to a ECU/WVU Football game there one time. Never again. Talk about horrible fans. Guest of our chancellor get hit in the head with a balled up cup of ice from the upper deck and a ECU fan got his nose broke in the bathroom for wearing purple.
