Both the men's and women's team finish their conference schedule with 4 road games.

That should never happen IMHO unless perhaps JMU had something scheduled at the arena?

I don't see anything scheduled? Could it be due to the doubleheaders?

Why would either program have their last 4 conference game on the road? At most a team should finish with 2 road conference games, not 3, and certainly not 4. 01-wingedeagle

We are not the only ones and there are teams that finish with 4 straight home games as we did last year. Have no idea why they would set up the schedule like this but I would like to think there is some reason for it.

Does not make sense to me. I can't think of a reason other than facility availability and that does not seem to be an issue.

RE: JMU Sunbelt Basketball
If you resequence some of the 9 road games you could have weeks when the team plays on the road Thursday and then at home Saturday. Not ideal either, but I would prefer that vs someone finishing with 4 straight road games.

We didn’t have a problem with it last year when we finished with 4 straight home games.
Now we are getting our turn. Maybe they will fix it after this year’s cycle and everyone has paid their penalty.

If we aren’t careful, the Sun Belt will push conference games up to 20 and claim they are too poor to host OOC games and too scared to play big guarantee games on the road.

I’m Then you would have 5 weeks with 2 home games and 5 weeks with 2 road games.

I know a lot of conferences actually pay a company to build their conference schedule which is the ultimate in ineptitude. You can get a college intern with an excel spreadsheet to do it for free and make it equitable for all.

Since most of us have ESPN+ for obvious reasons, I highly recommend a 30 for 30 short from many years ago called The Schedule Makers. A husband and wife duo used to do the MLB schedule for many years before they switched to a computer (that often borks things up without the human touch).

CHOICES for admitted students is being held on campus this Saturday 3/2. It kicks off at AUBC and runs throughout the day all across campus. Participants are directed to park in the Ballard Parking Deck.

That obviously only impacts this Saturday though.

Final games this week are on Friday, but I guess that may need to prepare something Friday.
