The Dukes head down to Myrtle Beach for the first of the last two regular season games facing off against the Chanticleers at 5:00 PM on Wednesday. The Dukes are coming off a close loss to ApSt this past Saturday and the Beach Chickens are coming off a 6 point loss to Geaogia Southern at Statesboro on Saturday. The Dukes are 19-10 overall and 115 in conference while Coastal is 10-19 overall and 4-12 in Conference. The Dukes beat Coastal at the AUBC on 2/17 by a score of 73-60.

Hopefully we will see Koslova and Bristow back in the lineup

Beach Chickens are pretty bad, but we are hurting right now. Let's see if we are at anything resembling full stength.

Game Day. Will be traveling to FL to watch some Nats Spring Training games so we will have to watch it in the car on the wifes IPad. Win today or on Friday guarantees the Dukes one of the top 4 seeds in the Sun Belt Tournament and the double byw.

Dukes up by 6 end of Q1. Bristow playing, Koslova not.

JMU up 37-30 at the half.

Jmu up by 3 51-48 at end of 3rd qtr. Ugly basketball by both teams.

After a strong start JMU is playing sloppy ball. Not much energy. Just over seven minutes left JMU up by 2.

Goodman playing very well.

Dukes up 4 w/ 4:49 left. Not our best game today, but we are battling.

Not sure why you fire up 3's with 24 seconds on the shot clock with under 2 minutes left up by 8. Not very smart Basketball.

Sousha was in street clothes on the bench and still wearing the boot. My guess is they play it safe and hold her out of the last regular season game so she will be fully healed for the Sunbelt tourney.

At this point in the season, any win is a good win-good job ladies. Let's hope we have most of our important players for the SBC Tourney.

Nice win ladies! I wasn't able to watch/listen to the game. Could somone please tell me about JMU's defensive stand in the 4th quarter. The write up on their website indicated the team dug in and held CCU to some extended scoring droughts

Excellent game by Goodman, 17 points, wow! Competent game by McDaniel with 10 and 10, and a nice scoring game by Sterling. Beach Chickens announcers very complimentary of all 3 and also of Bristow returning. I suspect Coach is saving Kozlova for the tournament in hopes that she will come roaring back, and I hope that's the case. I thought we did a pretty nice game of shutting down their tall center Stack. Their team is still mostly freshmen with a few transfers so they are in a developmental stage. Hard to tell how many of those will stay. I thought we kind of "wore on them" as Pat Summit used to say and our philosophy of "defend, rebound, and run" worked well against them. They have some nice players, particularly Cange, Ramsey, and Freeman, but their bench is not our bench by any means, and that's a difference right there.
