ECU looked very weak. But maybe our good play was the reason. GTG!

Not sure if you are ok with natural alternatives, but there is something called Neem that works similar to nsaids.

Hey, it's take no prisoners any more at this time of the season. Need to beat everybody by as much as we can to help the NET rating. That is why with 2 minutes to go, up 20 he still has Jones and Tomlin in the game (Tomlin played his minutes in the last 13 minutes of the 2nd half with 4 fouls!!!) A big man playing extended time with 4 fouls and not fouling out!!!

Brown is still suffering from a bad back. You can tell cause he just does not have any lift when he jumps. I'll give him a pat on the back (gently of course) for getting out there and giving it a go. I predict if he can get healthy he is gonna make a big difference in a game somewhere down the stretch. But, getting over a sore back is not a quick process if you continue to run and jump a lot.

Too bad the fire wasn’t there a month ago.

Yeah, that poor guy is just not made for this team.

Just too slow.
Penny said he isn’t 100%, but a little better. I still have faith in this guy. Not giving up on him.

Yeah, he got a bad back. If you never had one, you have no idea how bad it can limit what you can do, like just getting up out of a chair. Voice of experience here...
COGS I second that !!!

I battle LBP every single day so I feel for anyone who has the same issues. I eat ibuprofen like candy.
07-coffee3 Be careful with the amount you take. It can cause internal bleeding. It happened with a friend of mine and he ended up with a major problem. I also have back problems and my doctor suggested back injections similar to knee injections and they have worked well.

I have a nerve block scheduled for Monday. I've had them on and off for years. Sometimes they help, sometimes they don't. I'm aware of the dangers of taking too much ibuprofen but chronic pain makes me say that I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I'm 67, if I check out tomorrow I'm OK with it. I'm not going to live my life worried about long term consequences.

Thanks for the input! 04-cheers

I'm 52 and have had it for 38 years. I had 2 nerve blocks and 2 epidurals before anything helped. I have 2 degenerative disc's and a bad hip and for the last 5 years I've managed the pain with a decadron/ Toradol cocktail shot. It's considered non addictive so I can get them as I need them. They have helped more with the pain than anything else I tried and it has kept surgery away.

I've been looking and this just popped up. It almost looks like it's post-game, but there wasn't a dedicated space to do post-game interviews. I don't know.

I wasn't aware that JB had a bad back. Guess I missed that. I was yelling at the TV for Penny to take him out as he just didn't look like a D1 player, much less a former Pac12 6th man of the year or Lou Henson award winner. If he can get better and give us some minutes with any sort of production, it will help especially when Tomlin has to go out.

On to UAB. We owe those boys.

I had surgery on L4-L5 disc rupture in 2003. It went south and I spent a month at Methodist North with a bad infection. It hasn't really been right since. But, I know people who are far worse off than me so I'm good.

Thanks for the tip, I'll ask my NP about that.

Fine with me. Less chance to say something stupid. Especially the "student athletes"...
