What I'd do with the FSU exit money
Sit on it till 2028-29 and offer to pay the exit fees for the top target schools in the Big12. That would insure the survival of the ACC in the long run and bring in new markets for the ACCN.

$700m put in a conference affiliated endowment fund that would pay out to each of the remaining 16 football-playing schools' NIL collectives approximately 2 million inflation-adjusted dollars a year in perpetuity (or $2.7m per school if not including the coming attraction members).

I like both of these answers, tbh.

Measuring the drapes already I see...and the ACC fancies itself a classy group above the ruffians in the Deep South and Midwest. Where is Socon Boy to lecture you all on how talking about money is gauche to delicate Tobacco Road sensibilities?

You never talk about or pine for what you feel entitled to. Money isn't a gauche topic for them, because they simply expect to have it, but are grateful they don't have to hobnob frequently with those who aren't from the Carolinas and Virginia and have more. It's an old plantation habit. You don't discuss the money you have, or don't have with the help. That way the pretense of it lives on and unaccounted.
All vanity is the same. Vanity is the place you live in your imagination where you are Lord of your perceptions and people defend that space more fiercely than their actual homes. Contained therein is the power of delusion. If the Noles leave, and for less than a crippling sum, their delusion of grandeur and security is shattered and that is why you face such a persistent resistance. You aren't shattering the ACC, you are bringing down Camelot. No disrespect intended to Campbell.

It's the new aesthetic. Tobaccy tacky.
I remember everyone getting measured for tuxes to wear to the grand party the ACC would throw on Maryland's exit money.
Today the Terps are in the black and in the B1G, half the ACC wishes it had caught the same ride out, and no one remembers how the money got spent.
