Besides, the SEC doesn't "need" them. But the SEC didn't need Oklahoma either. And the SEC could very well take FSU to keep the B10 out of Florida.

Knowing the SEC I just think they go after the North Carolina and Virginia flagship universities. That’s why they’ve taken Missouri and Oklahoma. They took A&M not thinking they’d ever get Texas. I’m just not sure how much Florida State moves the TV needle for them

I believe that the SEC and the BIG want everyone else out of the college sports business. Not diminished but gone.

I think so too but they gotta play someone. It would look weird having only 36 teams to chose from. Let’s just hope they don’t destroy the only thing good out there March Madness

why would it look weird? NFL and NBA do it.
