Not sure it's happened in he modern era for Tiger basketball, but against UAB tonight Jones, Tomlin and Quinerly all scored at least 25 points. This team looks to have developed an identity of a three headed monster

Against UAB:
32 Jones
28 Tomlin
25 Quinerly

Walton was big as well. Don’t count out him.

Walton banging in the paint with 13 rebounds was big as well. I agree

I don’t recall him doing that all year. Has he even done that yet?

Walton does a lot of good stuff that most fans don’t see. He’s become a lot better defender and helps out with ballhandling when JQ goes out.

Walton had to be the defensive/rebounder constant after Mills went out. Feel like his reluctance to take that role was big part of our midseason struggles. Maybe this game will show him he can do those parts AND score?

Let's not get too crazy. He was 1-9 from the floor yesterday.

That was big. His shot wasn't dropping but he still contributed.

Tigers on the Offensive glass dominated 23 to 11; incredible edge.

You're right. Guess instead of "score" I should say "be heavily involved" in the gameplan. He was all over the court and I think a big reason why he had all those boards was he was attacking the hoop and in position for the rebound. Its still crazy that dude shot 50+% last year averaging 33 mins. Guess the law of averages is a real thing!

Shooting is only part of the game. UAB is a good rebounding team. Keeping them off the offensive glass was key

It really is. You don't see that very often at all in college hoops.
