I’m headed to Clearwater this week for Phillies spring training. Will be going Boca on Saturday for the FAU game. Any Tiger fans going to the game hit me up for pregame dranks.

Go holler loud for me. You’re entering a war zone. Stay safe.

Anybody paying that to see Wisconsin v. Purdue should get their head examined. Boring a$$ basketball and Badgers suck to boot.
Lets see? 144 for one ticket down to Florida, and close to a thousand miles from Memphis to travel, you would need at least a 1,000 to carry with you to the game. That my friend is a long trip, but worth it if you’re going?

Frenchie's Rockaway and the Palm Pavilion....two of my favorite hangouts on Clearwater Beach. Enjoy!! And....Jimmy's Crow's Nest at the top of the Pier House 60 Marina Hotel.

This game is going to be intense. Tigers better be ready. Both teams are backed into a corner and need this W. Two backside bubble teams and neither can afford a loss. So yeah, that little gym will be rocking.

There's a Frenchy's in left field at BayCare Park, as well. We usually try to grab a couple of bar stools there to watch the game...great sight lines.
When you are in Clearwater go to Gerstles Beach Bar on Clearwater Beach and ask if Jeff Hawks is in. He is a huge Memphis fan. Fun place with decent bar food. By the way, this is a terrible time to live in Clearwater, baseball spring training, St. Petersburg Grand Prix, Strawberry Festival, Valspar Golf Tournament, spring break. Crowds are horrific.

Just goes to show you all the schools in our conference look at Memphis as a big game. Of course with the tiny gym FAU plays in supply and demand is a big factor in the ticket prices.
GTG!

That's one of the problems of Clearwater Beach. It has been picked several times as the best beach in America and during the peak tourist seasons, the traffic is bad. Those folks who live on the north end and on Island Estates, have to deal with it. I like to go in the shoulder seasons when there are few tourists and you don't have to deal with the crowds and traffic. Plus the weather is nicer.
