Akron and Ohio have both played games at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse this season as well. That could be playing a small factor as well since they will have more familiarity with the depth perception.

I think Ohio should be the favorite but going 1-3 vs the top 2 seeds is rough.

Toledo is 3-2 vs their side of the bracket but are playing back 2 back the team they are 2-0 against. It's a bad draw for competition is solid, but you'll have motivation vs. all of em which is good.

What I find interesting is that Akron and Ohio are #1 and #2 despite being on the same side of the bracket. Toledo has what's the easiest path so they have the best chance of actually making it to Saturday. I would have thought Akron and Ohio would have cannibalize their odds more.

IMHO, he should have never been hired to begin with, but it would not surprise me if he's still around next year. That's just Michigan.

He broke his wrist. He’s done for the season is what was reported.

I was lurking on the Ohio board and someone said: "Looking over Western's schedule and results, they too have come on strongly in the second half of the season."

What's funny is that I was thinking the opposite. We started the MAC 4-0, and went 5-9 since (not including the blowout loss @ Southern Miss).

Although we did win two of our last three, one being the Miracle in Muncie, and the other at home against a slumping Akron.
