RE: Memphis hype video against UAB
JQ could be so freakin special. If he could play at that level day in and day out he'd be the best PG in the country. And there doesn't appear to be anything wrong in that locker room. Everyone biatches about Walton but I've been pleased with him and the team feels the same way apparently, lot of love shown for those 13 rebounds. Tomlin saved this team from itself, I truly believe that. He's like a Deandre 2.0. There's nothing to say about Jones that hasn't already been said. Next season Jourdain will be invaluable I think.

When this team is locked in - and Penny doesn't go to the crazy sub patterns - I truly believe we can beat anyone.

That was a great video. And....here is the actual footage from ESPN for the run we made that flipped the game. The commentators did an excellent job of communicating what was going on at the Forum.

It's amazing what officiating can do to a game. Not blaming hear me out. Several of those turnovers could have easily been called fouls. Hence Kennedy getting tossed. This game was a good example of the difference between letting them play and getting whistle whipped.

I feel like JQ has stepped it up big time. You’re right about one thing, I feel like this team is dialed in now. Better than it has been in a while.

College officiating is not good.
Kennedy didn't acknowledge that UAB had gotten away with another obvious travel the previous possession when they broke their scoring drought.
He was trying to get his team fired up with the first tech, and then just totally lost it - pushing players and coaches.

I thought the same thing. Why get upset when an obvious traveling call was not made. UAB lost the ball anyway on that play but....why go crazy when a call was not made and that was in your favor. I am sure the play of the Tigers and the fans got into his head and he blew up. He came off as a "Hot Head" who can't control his emotions.

Big difference between the two MEM/UAB games.

At UAB everybody was talking about how into it AK was... how he's constantly coaching his guys and has emotion. Penny is just standing there doing nothing.

Fast-forward and AK is an out-of-control hot-head and Penny is confident and cool.

Kind of two extremes. There is a happy medium somewhere.

Kennedy is a bit like Mussleman at AR. They are both very animated on the sideline and at times their behavior is simply embarrassing for their respective Universities...
