Dear BeatWestern!,
Although Central had a decent season record wise, I wouldn't go as far as Mr. Rothstein's comments.

About a month ago, I was totally on board with Rothstein's comments. Now, after Central has regressed slightly in these past few weeks, I'm thinking Toledo's coach will probably win the award. But, I do think Central's coach would be deserving if he wins. He has done a great job, that's for sure!

Hope he is there when we are in the league. Game was in Albany 3.21/1991 LouMass recount of the game.

Will Herndon in Albany against Siena in the NIT, OT game winner but by no means was it a buzzer beater. He scored the only 2 points scored in OT. The buzzer beater was a Tony Barbee 3 to send the game to OT and the NIT Final Four. UMass had gotten the ball over half court and called a timeout with a second or less on the clock. During the timeout the Siena announcer was giving out info for the buses that Siena fans could take to get to the FF at MSG. So great to see that crowd deflated faster than you could say TB 3!!
