Father and mother played at Princeton. Father was one time Princeton HC and now Air Force HC. Recruited by Virginia, Notre Dame, Penn St out of HS. Listed as 6'6" PG, as well as a wing. Will be a junior. May be a deceptive get.

He's coming from a very good program too, Princeton has been top of the Ivy for 3 years. Top choice would've been Caden Pierce but willing to give Jack Scott a chance. Looks like espn put him as a 4 star out of hs.

On Instagram, both Caden and Justin Pierce were excited for Jack to be joining the Tribe. If Caden wasn't going to make so much on the open market next off season, I think hed love to come to W&M. But, I think his asking price will be a bit rich.

Scott is the fourth newcomer to sign with the Tribe for 2024-25. He joins fellow transfers Kyle Pulliam (Silver Spring, Md. / Our Lady of Good Counsel / St. Thomas Aquinas) and Keller Boothby (Plano, Texas / Prestonwood Christian Academy / Cornell) and freshman Ryan Jackson (Mesa, Ariz./AZ Compass Prep) as part of the Tribe's incoming class.

As far as I can tell, Caden will be a Senior both academically and athletically after next season. If that is indeed the case, why would he consider transferring anywhere and give up a chance for a Princeton degree?

I don't know anything about Caden's academic status or goals, but Caden will have the opportunity to make more than $100k each of the next couple of years if he transfers. I'm sure his plan is to graduate and then cash in. If he's wise, he'd try to finish his degree ASAP via summer classes and preserve his eligibility. The amount of money he can generate from NIL will dwarf anything he makes playing professionally.

In prep school in CA, but home is MD. Imagine he is waiting to sign when back home among family and friends.
