Gotta get Toledo early and hold on. Most games UT is down or close after 1/half. Then it's all UT. 17 double digit MAC wins has to be a record.

Ball State whopping the Bobcats. Really a 2 team league with a solid 3rd and 4th which could win some other mid major leagues. If the Cards and Rockets meet in the finals, both did enough OOC to earn a bid IMO. Michigan, Pitt, Georgia, SMU, NDSU all solid wins.

Great win by the Bulls. The men's team had a historically awful season so it's great to see the UB ladies step up and get back to the Championship game with a different coach.

Really like your coach. And for my money, Watson was by far the best player in the league. I don't think there was a question. Watson scored 30 today. Wiard, had 2 points in 45 minutes. Oh well...

Toledo had an incredible comeback in the first 5 minutes of the 4th quarter, completely erasing a 15 point deficit. UB righted the ship and won in OT. Heck of a game. Kent pretty much just dominated Ball State and the Cardinals tried some different things but never made a run. Kent pounded them on the boards and consistently passed out of double teams to cutters for easy layups. Great game plan for Kent.

Wow, after the seasons that Toledo and BSU had to have neither in the title games is pretty disappointing for those programs.

I've been seeing a lot of upsets in all these conference tournaments.

Lower seeds are having a time all over: in the A-10, the highest seed left in the semi-finals is the #5.

That's what happens when they teams are all bunched up. The women have 6 teams in the top 81 Net.
The men have 9 teams inside the Top 95. There is Dayton, knocked of then 2 in the 70's, 4 in the 80's and 2 in the Net 90's.

Kent State going to the NCAAT. Defeats Buffalo 78-60. Great run by Buffalo, but 18-point margin?

Helped Toledos SOS with Kent taking the win. Hopeful for 2 teams. Honestly BSU had a shot a few weeks ago...Margin in losses is too much to overcome. WNIT will get 3 teams able to make a run.

Why did Miami WBB opt out of the WBIT? Is it a pay to play tournament?

I find it REALLY hard to believe they were even offered that chance. The WBIT is now the second-best postseason women's tournament after the NCAA's.

Toledo and Ball State are in it. Miami was 9-20. Highly doubt anyone would offer them anything.

My bad, I heard Miami opted out, but it was the Hurricanes.

Quote:JMU didn’t hear its name called when the field was initially announced Sunday night at 9 p.m. But less than an hour later, posts from official WBIT social media accounts announced the Dukes not only were in the 32-team field, but a No. 1 seed, replacing Miami which had dropped out.
