I'm glad the voters looked at the entire season of the CMU coach's work and voted him this honor. He truly deserves it.

Barring a transfer portal exodus, Toledo should be crazy good next season. Three juniors in the MAC 1st and 2nd teams, and two players on the All-Freshman team.

Freeman going from walk on to MAC POY. Most of you guys have been following MAC hoops longer than me. Some of you have probably been following them before I was even born. Has anyone seen a MAC player progress as much as Freeman has during their collegiate career?

I think these are about right. Maybe some shuffling between teams, but it would be nit picking. Do they ever release the voting results? I could see a number of guys getting at least 1 first team vote. COY would be interesting... Barbee going from 12th in the preseason poll to 4th is certainly worthy. I could have also seen Kowalczyk (4th regular season championship after losing last years POY) or Boals (Injuries / losing AJ Brown for the year in December / early close losses to win 10 of their last 11 in conference).

CMU the biggest surprise this year. The biggest disappointment has to be Kent State. Coming off NCAA year and finishing 8th almost missing MAC tournament. Toledo repeat after what they lost was impressive.
