all other results being equal, a 14 point win gets us into the top 70 in KenPom. Luckily a lot of teams right ahead of us are playing today so we could move up further....Oregon, UVA, KSU. If they lose by more than expected then we could move into the mid-high 60s with a double digit win.

Yeah. ESPN has us as 8.5 point favorites but a South Memphis Beatdown is in order.

My stats actually show a tale once again of three possible outcomes.
Memphis plays its "average" game to an "average" Wichita State and Memphis wins but doesn't cover. Memphis 77-74.
Memphis plays its "better" self and covers. Memphis 84-74.
Memphis throws in towel and goes to NIT early. Wichita State 76-75. Yes, one of those losses.
Me...I see the first game as the likely scenario. Of course, I am the hopelessly optimistic and deluded Tiger fan.
