wow. Looks like the G5 needs to spin off and do its own thing. SEC/Big 10 schools go from 5.5 million per participant to 21 million. G5 schools go from 1.5 million to 1.8 million.

unsure the spin off would increase that revenue number or not.

RE: New 14 team CFP being finalized tomorrow.
On an annual basis, for example, the Big Ten and SEC will be making more than $21 million per school, a number that's up from the nearly $5.5 million the Power 5 leagues are currently being paid.
In the ACC, the schools will get more than $13 million annually, and the Big 12 will get more than $12 million per school.
The Group of 5 schools (the American, Conference USA, MAC, Mountain West and Sun Belt) revenue will increase to just under $1.8 million from the current $1.5 million. According to multiple sources, AAC commissioner Mike Aresco has been the most outspoken critic of the plan but hasn't been able to garner enough support from other commissioners to fight it.
G5 needs to just give up and quit. This is what getting left out of the B12 means for Memphis.

I get it, but that’s where it’s moving. The big schools are forcing out the G5 schools, but they cant kick them out or they face litigation… so they squeeze & force them to voluntarily leave.
Same will be coming for basketball too.

And how do the G5 conferences all vote for it? I heard it was unanimous

Because the G5 licks the ass of the P4.

Broadcast AAC games with the same production values as the P4 and you couldn't tell the difference between the games. TV created this and TV will destroy anything for a buck.

G5 needs to sue. You might be able to make the argument that such a proposal violates the Sherman Anti-Trust Act. It prohibits anticompetitive agreements, or attempts at monopolizing a market.

That only works with the Sicilian mafia apparently, because they won’t even use it for the local streets gangs here
