The next ACC media partner(s)
Who do ya want?

I'd want CBS, but as an exclusive partner with the continued relationship with the CW for tier 3 distribution.

But will the ACC have enough worthy tier 1 and 2 content to offer?

Don't cross the mouse. Only something as B1G is big enough to take them on.

RE: The next ACC media partner(s)
The only media group who may have the financial capability would be Warner Brothers, who are coming out bankruptcy/reorganisation.

CBS, NBC, Fox are backing the BIG
ESPN are backing the SEC.

Would WB be interested in backing the ACC. Depends if conference realignment messes with their March Madness broadcasting.

Perhaps Swarbick can play matchmaker with NBC and the ACC.

Swarbrick will be retired/unemployed in a couple of weeks so he will have plenty of time available.

ESPN does a great job promoting the stories they want told.

Well since we have been told that we will be getting a $250M bump in the next look-in 2025ish for 2026 and beyond. I think we can stay with ESPN!

Also I am excited to see the new revenue for the ACC Network at a full distro for the full and then the increase from SMU/Stanford & Cali.

I think he'd be a really good consultant for that process. If there's anyone who can best position the ACC for the future, it's him.

Maybe Swarbrick can sell NBC that a strong ACC helps ND which helps NBC.

In 2036? Probably Amazon or Google TV.

RE: The next ACC media partner(s)
Meanwhile, it's my hope that when ESPN renews for 2027-36 they will sublicense even more content. It looks like CW gets decent TV viewership numbers, but what about filling the holes in the CBS and NBC Saturday lineups?

Quote:CBS has a Big Ten game on 3:30 pm every Saturday, but prime time is open and so is noon.
NBC has 7 Notre Dame games per season - typically around 3:00 pm - and a Big Ten game in prime time every Saturday, but that still leaves noon every week and 3:30 pm about half the time.

I'm thinking Time Warner is a good candidate since they are partnering with ESPN and Fox on the streaming service. The pairing would be ESPN/SEC, Fox/B1G, and Warner/ACC.

So do I
Beyond the curse I liked the quality of their broadcasts. A better production than the hapless ACC Network.
