NC State was going to fire Keats but he now gets extension for winning ACC tourney. I can remember fans pulling for Tubby and Johnny Jones to lose in the conference tourney so they wouldn’t be retained

Actually, its a 2 year add on so its gonna be a lot more expensive to fire him next season

Sonny announced his retirement (although it could have been forced, this was 40 years ago) before the SEC Tournament.

It's why you don't leave them in-place once the decision has been made. And always fire them after a loss.

Dan Monson...former coach of Gonzaga, He's the one that got that team rolling. After he left...his assistant Mark Few took over....has been their coach ever since.
