MyBB NCAA Women's Tournament Selection Thread
It's not the men's but hopefully this will get some discussion as well...

Here is my bracket...
https://www.offtackleempire.com/2024/3/1...chmolik-64

My hosts:

1's: South Carolina, Iowa, USC, Stanford
2's: Texas, UCLA, Ohio State, Notre Dame
3's: LSU, NC State, Connecticut, Oregon State
4's: Virginia Tech, Indiana, Kansas State, Colorado

I don't have a lot of non P6's, the only at large non P6 is Gonzaga. It sounds like the men.

RE: NCAA Women's Tournament Selection Thread
It looks like Colorado will not host and Gonzaga will.

My Penn State looks like the team with the highest NET ranking that got left out (27). They had a higher NET than Indiana State's men team. Columbia looks like they had the lowest NET ranking (57) of any at large team and had zero Quad 1 wins. Sounds like they just wanted a non P6 in the field.

I second that.

Thanks, schmolik.

I'll be rooting hard for the Vanderbilt and Middle Tennessee State ladies.

RE: NCAA Women's Tournament Selection Thread
Women's basketball is even more slanted towards power conferences than the men and that's part of my problem with it. The fact Fairfield who finished their season 31-1 were going to miss out if they didn't win the MAAC final is absurd and they still only ended up as a #13 seed anyway despite being #25 in the nation coming into this week. UNLV a 10 seed despite going 30-2. Cal Baptist getting a 15 seed with a 28-3 record. I get records aren't everything but they should count a little bit at least. At least Gonzaga were rewarded.

Some other interesting notes for mid majors. South Dakota State going to their 12th NCAAT in 16 seasons. Florida Gulf Coast going to their 10th in 11 seasons. Tip of the cap to both those programs. Cool to see Columbia get an at large to give the Ivy two bids.
