I got there early enough to catch the last couple of minutes of the Tarleton game. It looked like the Texans had it pretty much under control from there. I don't know if you guys used your starting rotations or not for the game. Wisdom gym looked like a Tarleton home game for sure. ACU used it's younger players for a large portion of the TAMCC game. Also, Ali Dibba was out the whole game. So, we got to see what a future Cat team will probably look like. I see a lot of things I like, but also a lot of things that need to be improved. TAMCC was very quick defensively and offensively and we struggled with that a bit. Still, a younger WAC team with a losing record showed a winning SLC team the door at the end of the night. I think last night was a win for the WAC in general. Tonight is going to be another purple West Texas WAC battle, good lord.... Hopefully I should be there. This is basically a home game for Tarleton. I hope we are all healthy and ready.

What's good to see is the WAC represent well.

I think both games were viewed as practice sessions for the ACU coach to evaluate players, some of which have hardly played at all. It sure appears the coach did not want to extend the season but rather to get some minutes for players in game conditions. I happened to see the team working out earlier in the week and it was strange indeed. I guess they got something out of the experience but clearly winning a game was not a concern.

Congrats to you Texans. You schooled us in every way tonight and we didn't even show up to the game. Practice session or not, the Cats were embarrassing tonight and played like they belong in a JC league.

The Cats did not play well tonight and it showed. Usually its a rock fight between these two teams but ACU was not looking like their usual self and lack their usual aggression. Being without Dibba also showed. I thought they should have full court pressed the whole second half if they wanted to stay in it.

Tough loss for Tarleton. Purdue FW had you guys down the stretch, and you actually came back. We know how those one point, last second shot, losses go. Great season any way...

It was a great season for the Texans.

Now we get recruiting. We have a lot to replace with the graduation of Smith, Gaddy, Williams and Muossa. So far I have only seen backup PG Miles Lewis in the portal.

Also saw a tweet about Assistant Coach Luke Adams as a candidate for the HC at UTRGV.

Good effort Texans. There was no quit in your team.

Smith and Gaddy will be tough to replace. Innocenti and Barnes are nice pieces to build around if they stay but we need to get a few studs in the portal
