Starting a thread for those of us going to share tailgate, pre-game, hotel, ticketingm etc. plans.
Where are you all getting tickets? What is everyone doing pre-game?

RE: Brooklyn Meetups
Amtrak from RVA Friday morning. Staying at the Holiday Inn Brooklyn Downtown. Our group has tickets in Sec 217. Probably doing whatever the Duke club puts together pregame

RE: Brooklyn Meetups
Just some local flavor for those coming in from out-of-town:
1) If you're looking for something to do Friday afternoon or Saturday, head about a mile and a half NW of Barclays to the DUMBO neighborhood. Awesome views of both the bridge and Manhattan Skyline from Brooklyn Bridge Park.
2) DUMBO food: Go to Juliana's and grab some pizza, meatballs, and my personal favorite - a real Brooklyn vanilla egg cream. (DON'T go to Grimaldi's next door. The original owners sold the Grimaldi's name to someone else and the food is terrible now. It's so bad that Patsy Grimaldi decided to go back into the business and open a new restaurant next door...you guessed it, it's Juliana's). So long story short Juliana's is way better!
3) In the DUMBO neighborhood, you can also grab that iconic tourist photo of the two red warehouses flanking the Manhattan Bridge (with the Empire State Building Easter-Egged in the transom of the bridge). It's the corner of Washington Street and Water Street.
4) If you're staying in Brooklyn it's a quick jump from Barclays to either Wall Street, Chelsea (High Line) or Times Square (ugh) on the 2/3 express. You can also take the 4/5/6 if you'd rather hit the East Village, 30 Rock, or the museums farther uptown.
5) Conversely to #4 you can stay in Manhattan if you don't want to get a Brooklyn hotel, and take the subway to the game at Barclays.
Hope everyone has fun...See some of you Sunday if JMU wins Friday night!!

How close is this place? #1 out of 6,811 can't be too bad.
