I never thought we would be made to wander 40 years in the wilderness. I feel fortunate to have lived long enough to see the promised land again.

I’ll be cruel. Is this just a flash in the pan, not to be repeated for another 40 years? I hope not. I hope they are parlay this into something much better. NCSU needs NIL support in a big way from Adidas and wealthy donors. The ACC would be helped by a three sided basketball rivalry in NC. That would be something else.

But, for now, NCSU fans, get your butts to Phoenix. Mortgage your houses if need be to buy tickets for the Final Four and to make NIL contributions. By all means buy season tickets for the 2024-25 season.

When Duke fans come along to pat NC State on the back, it's advisable to check for the knife.

Actually the current state of affairs has been the aberration. As you well know in the 45 years between the end of WWII and 1990, NC State won 16 SoCon and ACC titles in basketball. That's one every three years. The destruction of the program was a political thing that eliminated NC State from it's equal place in basketball in the Triangle. You and Carolina were the beneficiaries. The two of you got what you wanted - a 40 year high profile bromance that's not been the best for the conference.

It seems to me that you need to be looking at your spending because if our millionaires are outperfomring your billionairs, something is wrong.

NC State women also made the Final Four. Congrats!

You have got to love any team that denies Duke an opportunity to advance to the final four.

Go PACK!!!! It’s been far too long! The red & black here are rooting for you. One of my favorite basketball memories happened back in 1983.
