To be the best, you have to beat the best.
While they don't have an all-time great team this year, their long-term excellence is something to be admired.
I just bought tickets in Section 106, figured that was the JMU side/corner behind the lower seed bench. Taking the train up from DC tomorrow morning. Go Dukes!

How long does that take, out of curiosity?
Depends on which train you take & where you land. The ones that go south of DC go much slower, but Acela gets you Penn Station to Union Station in under 3 hours. Regular train is more like 3.5. I just like train to NYC because it eliminates all the tolls and parking hassle.

I picked up a lower bowl endzone (section 31) last night around 12:30am for $340 total on ticketmaster. Haven’t seen anything else in that far lower section for cheaper since. Think I might’ve lucked out picking up a Wisconsin fan’s ticket they dumped right after the game…
All that said, that’s much more than I wanted to pay, but I knew it was gonna be pricey due to the Duke/NYC situation.

A win over Duke would be humongous.
Can't wait
Jon Scheyer may be having nightmares tonight and wondering how he is going to earn his $8 million salary tomorrow.
Bottle up Filipowski and defend the three with a hand in the face while making our jumpers, and we win this one and advance.

Definitely, those are my 2 keys to victory as well. We need to keep Filipowski in check and make sure we get a hand in their face on 3s; this isn’t the CAA or SBC, they’ll knock down open 3s. Like Scotty says above, TJ negated their “big man” last night, first thing I noticed was how much taller he was than TJ and then how he actually played smaller; we’ll need the same tomorrow. Good thing TJ has already played Dook and Filipowski a few times when he was at BC so he has some familiarity there. We didn’t play that well offensively and nobody really got into the grove, but we still controlled the game from tip off to final buzzer. I think part of that was due to Wisky’s tight D preventing our guys from getting good open looks, but if we continue to pass the pass and wait we’ll eventually find an open man cutting. Can’t wait to make Dook look bad tomorrow.

What is it with Duke and Serial Trippers?
He needs to get an earful from JMU fans. Ruthless and persistent calling out of his lame tactics.
And the poor fella getting knocked to the ground himself by a fan…looked like he turned and initiated the contact, also was a drama Queen all that week while we weren’t sure he was going to play with that “injury.”
