We also get cheated by nonsensical rule. There were two goaltending calls against the High Point big. Several minutes after the calls, the points were taken away from us upon review. Either stop play right away and review the call, or don’t review goal tends at all. Subsequent play can be affected depending on what the call is. Reviewing if a toe was on the line as play continues is fine, because a goal was made either way, and subsequent play would be the same.

It's a rule loophole. Goaltending is one of those rules that the NCAA allows reviews to be held until the next deadball. In this case, the shot was blocked right to one of our players, but officials ruled goaltending, so we got points and the ball went to High Point

But then they turned around during the next media timeout and reversed the call, so the points come off the board and we essentially lose a possession. Had they reviewed it immediately on the whistle, points still come off the board, but we would have kept the ball since it clearly rebounded by us.

Let's call it what it was. A screwing by the refs. So much left out on the floor that they did wrong. 2 goal tending call they muffed. Ogo Ogo over the back of Nelson all night. Caleb and anyone else going inside getting hammered and never a whistle. And we still had a shot to win at the end. That's a team that played with a lot heart all season and I couldn't be prouder.
