Western disunity, Russian sanctions flops
Latvia is one of the loudest squawkers about Russia. They triumphantly announced sanctions on all Russia agricultural products. All sounds simple, sounds cut and dry. But within ALL, they “granted themselves” exemptions for the products that are important to Latvia, and the ones they spend the most on. Yet they still claim they have banned all.

They then use these products to export huge amounts of mik, eggs, meat etc that they sell all over the EU.

Same with oil and gas. Countries with no direct connection announce they won’t buy it. But they buy it from the others in the EU that do the buying for them.

All of the EU except Belgium had banned Russian diamonds. Belgium is the only place buying them though.

And the US is doing the same. They buy fairly low amounts of Russian exports, but they can’t even cut those off. Just this week the US bought $150 million of Russian fertilizers.

The West is all talk and everyone in the world knows it. Most of all, Russia.
