Martin has been there for a long time. At one point (maybe earlier in his career at Miami), wasn't he one of the lowest paid?

This will be his 11th season at Miami. I think he was middle-of-the-pack or slightly below average when he first started, after all the program was in the dumps at the time. But he’s never been that close to the bottom if I recall, and subsequent extensions even before this kept him at an average level even if towards the bottom of FBS in reality. This is a well-earned raise however, not sure why it hasn’t been publicized.

Seems like a nice salary for year 2 and 3 at 1.1Million.
