The B12 only played 18 conference games this past season. Have they decided to expanded to 20 conference games next year?

Yes.

It didn't seem to hurt us that much this year, why would we change it?

I think if anything, we might start to see leagues push back to 18 games in conference play. ACC talking about it. And it's a follow the leader type of thing.

ESPN offered us exactly $0 for an extra conference football game last year, do you really think they'd offer more than that for SEC basketball?

Too few conference games in football, too many in basketball. As long as they play once then it's fine.

The ACC is talking about reducing the number of conference games back to 18.

As a Vanderbilt fan, I strongly hope the SEC stays at an 18-game league slate.

Conference play is tough enough as is.
