I wouldn't want to stand before God and answer for my transgressions the way OJ did.

Money can't buy that kind of publicity.

Adversity does not develop character, it reveals it.

He would have been the same man, but perhaps he wouldn't have committed double murder and gotten away with it.

I'd like to think I would have called him a murderer and stalked off were I in your shoes, but more likely I would have been similarly nonplussed and just been anxious to get away from him. I've been around a few celebrities here and there in my life, but nobody infamous like OJ. His combination of first FAME and then INFAMY is without peer in our time.

Marcus Allen won a Heisman at USC and had a successful NFL career and has never killed anyone that I am aware of.

OJ’s fame went beyond football. He did TV commercials where he was running and flying through airports. He became a movie star. All this while playing in exactly one playoff game in his career and on teams with a total record of 47-109-2. On teams that aren’t in big media markets. He had it all. We could be sitting here mourning how he died relatively young and how a big part of our childhood is gone. Now we are all celebrating the death of a killer.

Not beyond a reasonable doubt in the minds of those 12 jurors.
Certainly all of his behavior since indicated the jury made a mistake.
