Cool story. That they were 4-11 beginning MAC play brings it down a bit, but still cool.

Congratulations to the Ohio Bobcats, who finally took down Bowling Green baseball 4-2 yesterday.

The Falcons are now 17-1, five games ahead of Western Michigan. But Bowling Green has some tough games ahead: Dayton at home Wednesday, then a three-game series at Kent State this weekend.

That's baseball.

Streaks are followed by other streaks.

My MACtion tour group met the coach last November before the Ball State game, we had a nice talk with him and he was pretty interested that we were all from Oregon State, a national baseball power. He was excited about having Orel return to campus for the first time in decades to speak to his team at their banquet. He seemed like a good guy.
